I was the Green Market last weekend and picked up some cheese from a dairy. I was inspired to make penne and cheese (although it doesn’t quite have the ring of mac’n’cheese).
I steam some broccoli and peas, cooked the pasta until al dente, and made the cheese sauce with a roux. I mixed everything together and put the pasta in little casserole dishes.
I sprinkled a little parm on top with salt and pepper. I baked them for about 10 min at 350F.
They were adorable and delicious!
